20 years of positive emotions.
In 2011 the Bank Evropeisky commemorates its 20 anniversary. We plan to hold some cultural, sports and entertaining events to thank our clients, partners and all those who grew up and developed together with us. We hope that it is a pleasant gift for our clients, an interesting event for the citizens of Kaliningrad and become traditional for our city.
On May, 8th at 11:00 the first city festival of cycling – «Wheel Day» will take place.
The festival is held by the Kaliningrad Federation of cycling with a support of the administration UB "City of Kaliningrad". The financial partner of the festival is the Bank Evropeisky.
The festival program considers the tastes of various audiences. The smallest "sportsmen" can take part in the competitions on three-wheeled bicycles, family heats «for fathers and mothers», and the starts for kids and youths will be organized! The energy and endurance will be shown by the Kaliningrad politicians —the special time is assigned for the heats. Besides, the students of the sports school and the master of the bike trials, executing dizzy tricks go on their marks. The races on the cycle tandems with the participation of the Polish sportsmen promise to become rather bright! But, except bicycles, it will be possible to drive on rollers, skates, skateboards. The highly topical musical-entertaining program, various competitions with memorable prizes and gifts expect guests and participants during the festival.
The professional bicycle race «Kriterium European» becomes a sports culmination of the festival. Kriterium is a kind of circuit races in which the distance is laid on the city streets. The length of a circle and the quantity of circles can vary that demands of attention, concentration, physical endurance, knowledge of tactical ruses from sportsmen — for this reason kriterium-races are so popular all over the world! The competition of such format is held in Kaliningrad for the first time: the route is laid across Mir Avenue, Kutuzov Street and Engels Street. The length of the circle makes 2,6 km, there will be twenty four circles . In total sportsmen will overcome 62,4 km. The participation in this race was confirmed with the national teams of Poland, Belarus, and the states of Baltic!
We hope that the festival «Wheel Day» becomes a tradition in our city and we invite all citizens of Kaliningrad to take an active part in the holiday of health, sports and an active way of life!
